Summer Williams, Reporter
Summer is a senior at the University of Arizona, studying journalism, photography, and environmental studies. Her work mainly focuses in documenting human relationships with nature and exploring how those interactions impact local communities. She uses photography and other visual mediums to communicate stories around topics like water resource conservation, land and food justice, climate change and BIPOC communities. Her desire to capture the world and communicate through her camera comes from a nomadic upbringing, which formed habits of curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
