It will take place on South Fourth Avenue from 36th to 28th Streets.

Organizers say the family-friendly event will include activities and performances for guests of all ages. While children can enjoy the carnival rides, parents can enjoy a beer garden.

Admission is free, but several popular South Tucson restaurants and vendors will line the streets to sell food and other goods.

Music and dance performance groups will perform throughout the day. There will also be a car show at the Feria.

South Tucson hasn’t hosted a festival this large in more than 10 years.

“This event means uplifting and renewing the businesses of South Tucson,” said Rose Julia Nenninger, one of the event’s coordinators.

Proceeds will benefit South Tucson youth programs, elderly programs and education scholarships for members of the community.
